Quick Update
So......
I should be doing schoolwork but
I never got around to writing those stories/novel/whatevers Ego and Just A Simple Story About Killing People (I don't really know why this was ever an option...I mean the only thing I had was the cool title), but that's A-OK. I did a wordcount and I am 20,000/90,000 words into Eternal Flame so that's progress...I guess. (ha :) ) I'll start posting excepts on my Eternal Flame page soon (as in a month from now) so just hang tight!
I just wanted to thank you for all of you who emailed me about what happened with my friends and school and ect and sent all the sweet virtual hugs I really appreicate it you guys are the best! :) Till next time!

NEW YEAR (Yeah, I know, I'm late...)
Well, I just had an epic fail moment (yes, one of many). I never chimed in the new year with a blog post. 0.0
Wups...
Anyway, I'm doing it now (Terribly unconvinient that it's now February and moments before Valentine's Day, but shhhh it could be worst, I mean I could have waited till September like I did last year.)
So.....it's a new year guys! 2013! (The Mayans were wrong, beeyotches!) And I am really, really looking forward to it. Beginning a new year with all my fans and writing buddies (although you guys never comment on my blog :p but I do apprieate all the emails and Figment love I get! <3) 2012 was bullsh!t if you'd ask me...translation everybody bounced on me...but I like it better this way. I'm homeschooled (once again), enjoying the single life, and getting ready to move to S. Korea to pursue my dreams of being a K-pop artist! (Just kidding, but I really am moving to Korean in June though).
Let's see...I died (haha no dyed) my hair blonde, and almost fried it but we're straight. My room still has been rocked by a hurricane (80's rock reference intended) and I've got a new novel (Well, not really new, but the last draft of it) plotted out and ready to go.... I'm just to effin' lazy for my own good ._.
With that yes, for all of you who have been waiting, I'm finally writing ETERNAL FLAME for good this time.
Yes that's right.

Plotted.
No BS.

I've even written the first Chapter (and like chapter 26, 10,16, 5, 9, 20...as you can see I've got holes) but it's crap (the 1st one that is) and it won't see light till I fix it. I know you guys are bummed but don't go blowin up my email about it...that upsets me (jk ;) ). But seriously 20 emails naggin me sayin you wanna read it so bad won't make me write any faster, just saying.
Well, I hope you guys are having a great 2013 so far (To be honest I'm not ._. but I'm getting there)

Change of Plans!
Sadly I never got to my novel! Started a new school and went underground on the writing scene but I'm back now and better than ever! Check out my Figment page and love on the poem Ego for now! The first chapter will be out soon I promise :) hahaha!
On another note, have any of y'all seen this show LOST by any chance it ended with 6 seasons (2004-2010) but I freaking love it!! haha I'm obsessed with this mess I'm on season three and still truckin!!
Maybe this is why I can't focus on writing! o_o ttyl guys!

Let's Have a Redo
Okay guys, change of plans. As I began the final draft of Eternal Flame (as I said in the previous post I was going to eventually finish my final draft and eventually get it published), I realized that I wasn't going to be able to finish it in a timely manner to blog about it. Why? Okay, Eternal Flame (about five years ago in its humble days) was the first story that I actually wrote...for me and one that I didn't just stop after three pages and called it a day.
See, I take Eternal Flame very, very seriously...it's like my baby (only you novel writers out there would know what I'm saying) and I want to nourish and care for it until it graduates from being just another word document to, well, a finished novel of bassery (like that? just made it up) proportions. And that just might take 2-3 years! Honestly, guys, would you stick around that long? I'll answer that for you--Nope. So I've come up with something ingenious! (Hint, hint, sarcasm.) Why not just start another novel and put Eternal Flame aside for a bit!
So this is where you guys come in, I was confused about which idea to roll with, and then I thought, "Who better to ask than the readers?" All you have to do is vote in the sidebar for your favorite or comment below before August 1 (What, why so long? I'm pretty lazy, that's what.) and who knows if I get enough traffic and votes by then I may even start sooner!
But don't worry I'll have plenty of funny things, and really cool writings tips to share on the way. So don't forget to follow my blog by email in the sidebar, or else you'd be missing out!

2) EGO- What happens when you're ego starts talking to you, then tormenting you. A continuation of my poem on Figment.
A story about talking egos and one about murders--I know right. I'm really into CSI, horror movies, and paranormal stuff and it shows in my writing.
So just use the little poll thingy ma-jigger in the sidebar or comment below, I'm keeping track!

Hello...?
Hey, my name name is N.V. Melody (but just call me Mel : D ) and most (if not all) of you probably know me from Figment and that's awesome because I've managed to get you here!!! YES!! Anyway, I mainly made this blog because I'm going to start the final draft of my novel Eternal Flame soon and my dream is to get it published and all that...good stuff. So I thought it would be cool to blog about it as it happens--you know...query letters, agents, just writing the novel in general. Comment below and tell me what you think, and if you're from Figment tell me your user name so I can check out your writing!!
Oh, and since we're on this subject can you Figgies out there check out Ego?
